Our Campaigns
Our ongoing campaign is to provide essential care packs to patients with Cancer and to families with babies in Neonatal care, as well as to siblings/children and family members of those affected. Our essential care packs include convenience, hygiene and luxury items, as well as gifts for the patients and their support networks.
Examples of gifts we have provided in the past include: Fathers' Day treats for SCBU fathers; baby supplies for babies in Special Care; Christmas presents to children in hospital wards; chemotherapy care bags to cancer patients etc.
New campaigns we're building
The types of additional campaigns we hope to run are many and varied, but our first ideas include:
- Funded cinema tickets for family fun
- Dietetics and nutrition support
- Magazines, games, quizzes and crosswords in bundles to bring people together at hospital bedsides
- Professional photography packages for families
- Special days out
- Funded childcare and home cleaning services
- Meals on wheels for loved ones
- Installation of baby changing facilities in places that need it
- Goody bags for patients and loved ones
- Sweet and savoury stands for waiting areas
- Funded accommodation for loved ones in hospitals
- Research and maintenance funds for medical and spiritual organisations
- Personalised artwork t-shirts
- Funded tuition and learning support for children, and courses for adults
