About Us

Ailsa’s Aim is a Cancer and Neonatal Support charity, inspired by Ailsa Whatley, and founded by Sara and Niven Whatley, to support individuals with a Cancer diagnosis, their families, and families with babies in Neonatal care.

Our team of amazing individuals and volunteers, work together to raise funds to support our beneficiaries and partner hospitals, by organising events, fundraising activities, selling wristbands, badges and other charity merchandise, through grant application and by completing sponsored walks/climbs/abseils/skydives etc.

As a charity we have built up relationships with NHS staff and other charitable organisations and are now working in partnership with more
than 15 hospitals, 23 individual wards and units, as well as schools, churches, community centres, local Food Banks and several other organisations and providing essential care packs to them all.

Our friends and family members, and our volunteers, supporters and donors all contribute in a variety of ways, giving back, not only to the hospitals that helped and supported Sara, Ailsa and Niven through their complex journey, but to those across the UK providing Cancer and Neonatal healthcare to their patients.

By donating blood, doing sponsored head shaves, organising charity music gigs and dog shows, running charity auctions, football matches and raffles and taking fundraising tins to places all over the UK, the team works tirelessly to increase the impact and support services we are able to offer.

With the help and support of so many wonderful people everyday, we are able to offer support and care packs to the huge number of people that
we do each year, free of charge, and make a real difference where it is needed most.

For all of us at Ailsa’s Aim, this project has been inspired by and is aimed towards so many people who have helped us get to where we are… Now we aim to be
Putting You First.
