Our story
Why Ailsa's Aim exists
Founders Niven and Sara Whatley faced an extraordinary journey — IVF, a high-risk pregnancy, the premature birth of their daughter Ailsa, and Sara's diagnosis with three rare ovarian cancers just weeks later.
Thanks to the NHS and the kindness of people around them, both Sara and Ailsa are thriving today. Ailsa's Aim is their way of saying thank you, by passing that same kindness on to other families.
